PET’s Emergency Hospital in Greeley, CO is seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinary Assistant to support our 24-hour emergency and critical care team. This role is ideal for those who thrive in high-stress emergencies and want to deliver hands-on, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of emergency veterinary assistant experience.
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical assisting.
• Strong clinical observation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during emergency exams and procedures.
• Provide advanced nursing care for injured or critical patients.
• Support anesthesia, surgery, and post-operative care as needed.
• Monitor anesthetic and hospitalized patients (ASA I-III; ASA IV-V preferred).
• Record accurate patient histories and medical records.
