Foothills Animal Hospital in Yuma, AZ, is hiring a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our animal healthcare team. You'll provide compassionate care, restrain and assist during examinations, and help with treatments, diagnostics, and surgeries while building a solid foundation in veterinary medicine.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year experience in a veterinary environment required.
• Must know how to restrain and handle cats and dogs of all temperaments.
• Basic computer skills for maintaining electronic medical records.
• Associate degree in veterinary technology or continuing education in veterinary science a plus.

Responsibilities

• Compassionate care provider: restrain and handle animals with confidence and gentleness during examinations and procedures.
