Emergency Veterinary Care Centers (EVCC) in Westville, Indiana, seeks newly graduated Emergency Veterinarians for a structured mentorship pathway into emergency medicine. You will follow a staged schedule: hands‑on guidance first, then overlapping shifts, and finally a mix of solo and supported shifts that ensure independent practice with cross‑location backup.

The program emphasizes education, case rounds, and a strong hospital leadership team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program.
• Possesses state veterinary license in good standing or eligible to obtain one.
• Excellent problem‑solving and ability to think “quickly on your feet”.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and compassionate “bedside” manner, building trust and strong relationships with clients–both human and furry alike

Responsibilities

• Mentorship during months 1–4 with a core DVM mentorship team, focusing on hands‑on guidance and ER skills.
• Months 4–7: overlapping shifts with other associate DVMs to build relationships and expose you to clinical cases.
• Months 7–12: mix of solo and overlapping shifts with real‑time support from EVCC veterinarians at other locations.
