Job summary

DVM Focus is recruiting an Emergency Veterinarian for a growing small-animal emergency and specialty practice in the Greater Cincinnati area. This role offers exposure to a varied caseload and the opportunity to work with advanced diagnostics and specialty support.

New graduates and experienced veterinarians are encouraged to apply. Mentorship is available to develop emergency medicine skills while collaborating with a seasoned clinical team.

Qualifications

• DVM degree from an accredited university.
• Active veterinary license or eligibility to obtain state licensure.
• Current DEA license or ability to obtain one on hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, stabilize, diagnose, and treat emergency patients.
• Develop diagnostic and treatment plans for urgent cases.
• Manage hospitalized and critical patients.
• Perform emergency procedures and surgery when appropriate.
• Communicate treatment recommendations and updates clearly with clients.
• Collaborate with specialists, veterinarians, technicians, and support staff.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Engage in continued clinical development and mentorship.
