First Coast Veterinary Specialists and Emergency in Jacksonville Beach, FL, hosts an ER Immerse Training Program for veterinarians passionate about emergency medicine. The 6-month training and mentorship aims to build core clinical skills, client communication, and team collaboration.

Participants train with in-house surgical specialists and a traveling internist within a supportive network, with opportunities to extend or transition to a longer associate role where openings exist.

Qualifications

• DVM degree and eligibility for veterinary licensure in the U.S.
• Interest in emergency medicine and patient care.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to a fast-paced ER environment.

Responsibilities

• Rotate with specialty services during the training.
• Surgical training included.
• Mentored shifts with dedicated mentors.
