Job summary

VetMED Emergency & Specialty Veterinary Hospital in Phoenix, AZ, invites motivated Emergency Veterinarian Mentees to join our 24-hour ER team as part of the Ethos ER Immerse Mentorship Program. The 6-month training includes a 1-year commitment as an ER clinician after training, with mentorship from residency-trained colleagues.

Our state-of-the-art ER offers telemetry, high-flow oxygen, mechanical ventilation, radiology suites, endoscopy, MRI, and a new CT.

Qualifications

• Surgical training provided and expected focus in emergency medicine.
• Interest in emergency veterinary care and teamwork within a specialty hospital.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with specialists and ER team to provide high-quality patient care.
• Participate in the Ethos ER Immerse mentorship program with structured shifts and mentorship.
• No on-call requirement during the program; focus on hands-on training and competency development.
• Engage in asynchronous learning on Vetbloom and weekly live virtual didactic rounds.
• Attend live CE events led by specialists and experienced emergency doctors.
