Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center (WVRC) in Ozaukee, WI, is seeking a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join our growing team. The ER role offers a rotating schedule with about 12 shifts per month and optional extra shifts for additional pay.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with state licensure eligibility.
• Rotating internship or 2 years of emergency medicine experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care for a diverse companion animal caseload.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and plan treatment for urgent and emergent cases.
• Provide comprehensive emergency care across receiving, triage, and hospitalized patients.
• Perform emergency procedures and surgeries, stabilizing critically ill patients.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams for seamless care.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners.
• Contribute to a positive hospital culture through mentorship and learning.
