Job summary

A well-established specialty and emergency veterinary hospital in the Atlanta metro area is seeking a Full-Time Emergency Veterinarian to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

You will triage, stabilize, and manage urgent cases, develop diagnostic and treatment plans, and communicate effectively with clients and staff. This role involves rounds, collaboration with specialists, and providing high-quality emergency care.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree required.
• Georgia veterinary license or eligibility required.
• DEA registration or eligibility required.
• Strong emergency clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Emergency medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage, stabilize, and manage urgent and critically ill patients.
• Develop diagnostic and treatment plans for emergencies.
• Manage hospitalized emergency cases.
• Perform emergency procedures as needed.
• Communicate with pet owners, referring veterinarians, and hospital teams.
• Participate in rounds and collaborate with specialists.
