Desort is seeking an Emergency Associate Veterinarian in Blue Ridge, GA to join a fast-paced, collaborative team dedicated to high-quality care for urgent and critical cases. The role focuses on clinical excellence, client communication, and continuous learning.

You will work with veterinarians, technicians, and staff to provide compassionate, comprehensive emergency services, with opportunities for mentorship and professional growth within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary program.
• Active or eligible veterinary license to practice in the US.
• DEA registration or ability to obtain upon hire.
• USDA accreditation or ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with urgent and emergency medical conditions.
• Perform physical examinations, diagnostics, and procedures.
• Develop and communicate individualized treatment plans.
• Manage hospitalized and critical patients as needed.
• Utilize diagnostic imaging and in-house medical resources.
• Communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis to clients.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
• Participate in continuing education and case discussions.
• Contribute to a positive, supportive team environment.
