We are not a typical ER; our facility combines emergency and specialty medicine with a full support bench including critical care, surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, and more.

Qualifications

• DVM with eligibility for veterinary licensure in GA.
• Experience in emergency medicine preferred; internship is ideal.

Dogwood Veterinary Specialty and Emergency isn't a typical ER. We're a 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital where every doctor's primary focus is providing the best possible medical care for each patient - and where every patient has the full weight of a specialty team behind them.

When you walk onto the floor at Dogwood, you're never alone. Six board-certified critical care specialists support every emergency case as needed. Surgery, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Anesthesiology, Oncology, Radiology, Behavior Medicine, and Palliative Care are all in the same building, on the same shared record.

Our second location adds Neurology, Interventional Cardiology, and Dermatology to that bench, deepening the specialty support behind every emergency case we see.

We work as a team. Every patient is our patient.

Our highly trained nursing and technician staff are equal partners in patient care. Doctors talk to each other, learn from each other, and back each other up. There's no "your case, my case" - the work is shared, the wins are shared, and the patient comes first.

• 24/7 in-house laboratory, blood bank, and dialysis
• Modern surgical suites supported by a board-certified anesthesiologist on staff - the only one in the Atlanta area
