Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to lead our Emergency & Critical Care Department. You will work with a team of clinicians and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care and client service, including on-call coverage for emergencies.

The role emphasizes leadership, clinical excellence in emergency medicine, staff development, and collaboration with specialists to uphold the highest medical standards and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• DVM license in good standing.
• Experience in emergency/critical care required.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee efficient operation of the Emergency & Critical Care Department to ensure optimal patient care and client service.
• Collaborate with leadership, clinicians, and ER staff to maintain a positive working environment.
• Assist in interview, hire, and onboarding of emergency clinicians and interns.
• Coordinate scheduling and ensure medical records meet Pathway standards.
