Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Texas veterinary licensure.
• Completion of a rotating internship or experience in emergency medicine is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a client-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload of companion animals.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for urgent and emergent cases.
• Provide comprehensive emergency care with receiving, triage, and hospitalized patient management.
• Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill patients using evidence-based medicine.
• Collaborate with specialists across Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Anesthesiology, Oncology, and Diagnostic Imaging.
