PetVet Care Centers is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian for Falls Road Animal Hospital in Baltimore, MD. You will join a large, multi-doctor team providing 24/7 emergency and specialty care with strong client communication and high-quality medicine.

The role offers a base salary of $155,000–$200,000 USD, predictable schedule, experienced support staff, and a culture of care across 400+ hospitals. Growth and relocation assistance are available.

Qualifications

• Veterinarian degree (DVM or VMD) from an accredited college or university.
• Current State Veterinary License is required.
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.
• 1+ year of emergency practice experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Communicate effectively with clients and educate on care.
• Conduct diagnostic procedures and surgery as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and pharmacy duties.
• Prescribe medications and follow controlled substance protocols.
• Collaborate with Hospital Manager on priorities and rounds.
• Participate in practice management updates and staff training.
• Support team members and promote efficient hospital operations.
