Points East Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Wilmington, NC is opening November 2026 as the area's first privately owned emergency hospital. A boarded surgeon and seasoned emergency clinician as partners lead the team; a boarded anesthesiologist serves as Medical Director for expert guidance.

Points East Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Wilmington, NC, will be opening November 2026. This hospital will join three Eastern NC sister hospitals in Eastern NC built on a foundation rooted in team collaboration, kindness, and empathy. Points East VSH will be the only privately owned emergency hospital in coastal NC. It is seeking an emergency veterinarian to join our team in a brand-new, state-of-the art facility opening in Fall 2026. With a boarded surgeon and a seasoned emergency clinician as business partners in the hospital and a boarded anesthesiologist as your Medical Director, you will be led by your respected colleagues with over 60 years of combined experienced. Our collaborative, close-knit team provides high-quality care to patients while offering the widest spectrum of care possible.
