Ethos is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian in Somers, WI, offering full-time or part-time schedules with flexible hours. Join a tight-knit, people-first team delivering high-quality emergency medicine and compassionate client care.

Formación

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state licensure.
• Rotating internship or experience in emergency medicine preferred.
• Strong communication and client-centered care in a fast-paced ER.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload of companion animals.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for urgent cases.
• Provide comprehensive emergency care, triaging and managing hospitalized patients.
• Perform procedures and surgeries, stabilizing critically ill or injured patients.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, techs, and staff to ensure compassionate care.
• Communicate clearly with pet owners during stressful situations.
• Contribute to a positive hospital culture focused on learning and mentorship.

In your day-to-day, you will

• Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload of companion animals.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients presenting with urgent and emergent medical conditions.
• Provide comprehensive emergency care through a balanced mix of receiving new emergency cases, triaging incoming patients, and managing hospitalized patients throughout their course of treatment.
• Perform emergency procedures, surgeries, and stabilize critically ill or injured patients using evidence-based medicine.
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.

What You Bring

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
• Completion of a rotating internship or experience practicing emergency medicine is preferred
• Confidence managing emergency cases and making sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.
