Job summary

VCA Orange County Veterinary Specialists is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join a 24/7 practice with world‑class medicine, advanced technology, and a talented team. You’ll work alongside multiple doctors, RVTs, and assistants in a state‑of‑the‑art, 7,500 square foot facility offering specialties like Surgery, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Neurology and Cardiology.

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent.
• Licensure in good standing to practice in California, or the ability to obtain.

• 7,500 square foot building with six exam rooms, two surgical suites and a large treatment room
• Specialties include Surgery, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Neurology and Cardiology
• Equipment includes anesthetic and mechanical ventilators, diagnostic and portable ultrasounds, oxygen cages and endoscopy towers, digital radiograph and fluoroscopy (portable C-arm).
• Advanced imaging (CT, MRI and scintigraphy) available next door.

• The annual salary range for this position is $80,000 to $225,000.
• Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials.
• This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
