Job summary

Puget Sound Veterinary Specialty & Emergency (PSVS) on the Olympic peninsula is welcoming internship trained or experienced veterinarians for full-time or part-time roles in our specialty and emergency hospital. New grads are welcome, with a supportive, learning-focused culture and opportunities to work with Surgery, Neurology, Oncology and Internal Medicine specialists.

Our fully equipped ER and ICU support top-level patient care, daily rounds, and ongoing CE, in a growing facility

Qualifications

• Emergency veterinary experience or internship training, full-time or part-time considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage emergency and specialty cases to high standard.
• Participate in daily case rounds for ongoing learning.
• Collaborate with specialists (Surgery, Neurology, Oncology, Internal Medicine) to provide comprehensive care.
• Participate in continuing education offerings and contribute to hospital learning culture.

Puget Sound Veterinary Specialty & Emergency (PSVS)

is looking to welcome internship trained or experienced Full-Time or Part-Time Emergency Veterinarians to our Specialty and Emergency Hospital on the Olympic peninsula.

We provide referral and emergency services to much of the Gig Harbor/Tacoma area. Our specialties include Surgery, Neurology, Oncology and Internal Medicine. The fully equipped and staffed ER and ICU will help you to manage all your cases to the highest standard. Our ideal candidate is collaborative, self-motivated, enjoys community outreach and is willing to promote and maintain an outstanding hospital culture.

We have daily case rounds each morning to provide an opportunity for continuous learning as well as regular continuing education offerings. The support staff are highly trained and enthusiastic about continuing education as well. This position offers clinicians a unique opportunity to work in a growing, well-equipped, state-of-the-art facility, side-by-side with a skilled group of specialists and ER colleagues.
