Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Triage, stabilize, and manage emergency and critical cases from intake through discharge.
• Perform comprehensive exams, develop diagnostic and treatment plans, and execute procedures.

• Communicate clearly with clients and referring veterinarians.
• Maintain medical records and abide by controlled substance protocols.
• Participate in rounds, case reviews, and in-hospital training.

The Hospital

This established emergency and specialty hospital delivers round-the-clock care in a collaborative, team-based setting. Emergency clinicians work alongside board-certified specialists across surgery, internal medicine, medical and radiation oncology, critical care, dermatology, dentistry, ophthalmology, avian and exotics, neurology, cardiology, and physical rehabilitation. The facility is equipped with in-house laboratory services, digital radiography, ultrasound, CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, endoscopy and bronchoscopy, interventional radiology, minimally invasive surgical options, and advanced patient monitoring including telemetry and capnography. Support extends to dialysis capability for appropriate cases and an on-site radiation therapy service with integrated treatment planning. Experienced technicians and assistants provide strong case support, and ongoing clinical development and CE opportunities are embedded in the culture.
