The VET Recruiter is assisting a AAHA‑accredited emergency practice in eastern Alabama to recruit an experienced Emergency Veterinarian. This full‑time role offers after‑hours care, mentorship for new graduates, and a collaborative team focused on client relationships and high-quality medicine.

The hospital houses ultrasound, digital radiographs and in‑house labs, and provides a flexible schedule and extensive employee benefits to support veterinarians in delivering exceptional care.

Qualifications

• Must hold veterinary licensure and be eligible for Alabama license.
• Experience in emergency medicine preferred, with ability to handle critical cases.
• Willingness to mentor new graduates and collaborate with staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency veterinary care for dogs, cats, and exotics.
• Diagnose and treat patients in a fast-paced 24-hour hospital.

Emergency Veterinarian – Alabama

We are looking for an experienced Veterinarian to join our AAHA practice in eastern Alabama as an Emergency Veterinarian.

We are a 24 hour practice offering general veterinary care, referral surgery, and after hours emergency care. We are an AAHA Accredited facility and garnered a 94% grade in emergency medicine and critical care in our latest AAHA evaluation. We have a formal mentorship program, so new graduates are encouraged to apply. We are looking for a dedicated and energetic veterinarian to join us as we treat dogs, cats, and exotics. We practice excellent medicine with a strong focus on client relationships and education. We offer state of the art equipment, including ultrasound, digital radiographs, and in house labs. We offer a flexible schedule and are enthusiastic about mentoring and helping new associates develop their skills in areas of special interest. We employ LVTs with over 100 years of combined experience so doctors can focus on examinations, interpreting tests, and performing procedures.
