Job summary

Atlas Consultancy Group is seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian for swing shifts in a state-of-the-art hospital in Southern California. The practice is Fear Free Certified and AAHA-accredited, offering advanced diagnostics, endoscopy, and 24/7 Criticalist guidance.

You will join a collaborative ER team with dedicated credentialed technicians, working three 12-hour swings weekly to balance emergency work with breaks.

Qualifications

• Licensed DVM (or equivalent) with ER experience
• Skilled at managing urgent and complex cases
• Comfortable with emergency surgical procedures
• Calm, confident, and great under pressure
• Thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented setting
• Competitive base salary with production-based bonus between $170,000-$250,000 per year with 23% production.

This AAHA-accredited and Fear Free Certified facility is equipped with everything you need to thrive—from endoscopy and advanced diagnostics to a 24/7 in-house Criticalist for guidance on complex cases. You’ll be surrounded by a team of experienced ER doctors and supported by dedicated credentialed technicians on every shift.

Swing shifts offer the perfect balance—avoiding the overnight grind while still allowing you to step into meaningful emergency work. You’ll work three 12-hour shifts a week, with built-in time for breaks and recordkeeping.
