Join a Progressive Talented ER and Specialty Team on the warm, sunny coast of South Carolina!

New River Veterinary Specialists is adding additional Emergency Doctors to expand our current team of 10 experienced emergency doctors. We are hiring for an overnight ER position as well as a day/swing shift ER position. With NRVS, you work 9-12 shifts per month and have an amazing work-life balance!

We believe that there should be no barriers between emergency doctors and specialists. Daily all-doctor case rounds provide opportunities for continuous learning. Emergency clinicians work side-by-side with our team of specialists with ample opportunity to manage critical care patients and benefit from our referral hospital environment. Our emergency clinicians do much more than just “see the door.” Complete diagnostic workups and manage complex cases, all with specialist support, and develop the skills to be a true critical care clinician!

NRVS has a full in-house IDEXX lab, 16-slice helical CT, fluoroscopy, interventional radiology suite, multiple GE ultrasounds, in house blood bank and component therapy, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, minimally invasive surgery, full-service sports medicine and rehabilitation department, and a dedicated ICU including long-term mechanical ventilation and high flow oxygen.

We are searching for an emergency clinician who enjoys working closely with other specialists and other emergency doctors and practices top-tier medicine. Our emergency department works directly with our Criticalists – even on the weekends! Our hospital ECC support system allows you to learn and grow while being supported by our DACVECCs who love teaching and mentoring.

We have a base salary of $150k with 25% production in addition to per-shift pay differentials ($250 bonus paid per overnight shift; $175 per swing shift) with no negative accrual. Our benefits package includes CE, organization dues/licensure, health & dental insurance, supplemental insurance, 401K with 4% match, PTO, paid sick time off and pet insurance allowance.
