  • Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload of companion animals.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for urgent and emergent cases.
  • Provide comprehensive emergency care including triage, stabilization, and hospital patient management.
  • Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill patients using evidence-based medicine.
  • Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to ensure compassionate care.
  • Communicate clearly with pet owners during stressful situations.

Working closely with specialists in areas such as Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, Anesthesiology, Ophthalmology, Neurology and Dentistry, our emergency department contributes to a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

  • $150,000-$175,000 base salary + 25% production, no negative accrual

In Your Day-to-day, You Will
  • Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload of companion animals.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients presenting with urgent and emergent medical conditions.
  • Provide comprehensive emergency care through a balanced mix of receiving new emergency cases, triaging incoming patients, and managing hospitalized patients throughout their course of treatment.
  • Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill or injured patients using evidence-based medicine.
  • Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.
What You Bring
  • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
  • Completion of a rotating internship or experience practicing emergency medicine is preferred (or equivalent clinical experience).
  • Confidence managing emergency cases and making sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.
