Ethos Veterinary Health in Dublin, CA is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to deliver high-quality emergency and critical care for a diverse companion-animal caseload. You will triage, diagnose, and stabilize patients while collaborating with a skilled team to provide compassionate owner communication and evidence-based treatment.

• Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload of companion animals

• Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill or injured patients
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to ensure seamless patient care
• Communicate clearly with pet owners during stressful situations

Schedule:10 shifts per month, 2 weekends a month

In your day-to-day, you will:

• Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload of companion animals.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients presenting with urgent and emergent medical conditions.
• Provide comprehensive emergency care through a balanced mix of receiving new emergency cases, triaging incoming patients, and managing hospitalized patients throughout their course of treatment.
• Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill or injured patients using evidence-based medicine.
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.

What You Bring

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
• Completion of a rotating internship or 2+ experience practicing emergency medicine is required.
• Confidence managing emergency cases and making sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.
