Introduction
Our client is a hospital looking to hire an Emergency Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. Providing advanced 24-hour emergency, critical care, and specialty pet care for cats and dogs, the hospital serves more than 38,000 patients each year. Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of Emergency Veterinarian responsibilities, providing high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload of patients. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, stabilising, and treating emergency cases, performing emergency procedures where required, and working closely with specialists across multiple disciplines to ensure the highest standard of patient care. Specific working hours will be discussed. The practice is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Veterinarian with emergency and critical care experience who thrives in a fast-paced referral environment and is committed to delivering exceptional clinical outcomes.
Practice Details
The AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing the full scope of Emergency and Urgent Care services alongside an extensive range of specialty disciplines. The practice is equipped with, but not limited to, Digital X-Ray and Digital Dental X-Ray, providing clinicians with the diagnostic resources needed to confidently manage a broad range of complex emergency and referral cases. Facilities include a state-of-the-art emergency surgical suite, patient rooms, and a dedicated triage area, supporting efficient patient flow and high-quality emergency care. In addition to its emergency service, the hospital offers specialty services in Cardiology, Critical Care, Dentistry, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Radiology, Oncology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Radiation Oncology, Rehabilitation, and Surgery, creating a truly collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
