BluePearl Pet Hospital in Avondale, AZ is seeking a full-time Overnight Emergency Veterinarian to join our 24/7 emergency team. The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostics, imaging, and a strong support staff to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to pets in emergencies.

The ideal candidate holds a DVM or VMD, is licensed to practice in Arizona, and demonstrates a commitment to ongoing learning, teamwork, and exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree and active veterinary license in the state.
• Self-directed with commitment to ongoing learning in emergency care.
• Strong decision-making, analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in high-volume settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency veterinary care during overnight shifts.

Our Avondale hospital serves the communities of Avondale, Litchfield Park, Tolleson, and Buckeye. It is the only 24-hour emergency animal hospital in the Southwest region of the Phoenix metro area. The 7,000-square-foot facility, opened in 2009, houses advanced technology and equipment, including a Snyder oxygen kennel, two ultrasound machines, surgical suites, and a complete in-house laboratory with a NOVA blood gas analyzer.

BluePearl Avondale offers a variety of services, including 24/7 emergency medicine, advanced diagnostics and therapeutics, critical care, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, nutritional support, and surgery. We also partner with a dermatology group two days a week.

• You’re officially certified: Holding a valid state veterinary license

Compensation and Sign-On Bonus:

• Average Base + Production Compensation Range: $160,000-$220,000

• Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available

This position is eligible for production compensation with No Negative Accrual. Production is paid out quarterly.
