Job summary

MedVet offers an Emergency Clinician Mentorship Program for new veterinary graduates, combining mentored ER experience with specialty rotations to help you confidently launch your emergency career.

The program features 1:1 mentorship, training phases, and rotations across Critical Care, Radiology, Internal Medicine and Surgery, with didactics and POCUS training to support growth from day one.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent from AVMA-accredited veterinary school.
• Licensed or license-eligible to practice in the state of the assigned hospital.
• Passionate about emergency medicine and continuous learning.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Two letters of recommendation from clinical faculty familiar with your skills and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a one-on-one mentorship and hands-on ER training.
• Complete training phases (Direct, Indirect, Independent) and specialty rotations (Critical Care, Radiology, Internal Medicine, Surgery).
• Engage in didactics and access to medical journals and textbooks via OVID.
