Global Public Safety, LLC is seeking an Experienced Emergency Vehicle Installer to join a mission-driven team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. The role focuses on installing and testing 12-volt emergency equipment, configuring new units, and servicing existing installations.

Qualified applicants will have 2+ years in upfitting emergency vehicles, prefer Whelen equipment experience, and be able to work on-site at customer locations.

Qualificações

• Two (2) or more years of emergency vehicle upfitting experience.
• Experience installing Whelen equipment preferred.
• Must be willing to work on-site at customer location.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; able to follow directions and work in small teams.

Responsabilidades

• Install, test, repair, and remove 12-volt emergency vehicle equipment—light bars, sirens, radios, speakers, antennas, routers, video cameras, laptops, consoles, K-9 cages, and more.
• Configure brand-new units, upgrade fleets, and service prior installations.
• Disassemble and reassemble OEM vehicle interior trim and components.
• Plan wiring routes for efficiency and future troubleshooting, perform electrical and physical modifications for emergency installations.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues with advanced automotive equipment.
• Keep workspace and tools safe, clean, and organized.
• Learn cutting-edge techniques and new product technologies from teammates and manufacturers.
• Assist shipping, receiving, inventory, and other shop functions as needed.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly.
