Job summary

Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA is seeking an Emergency Center Technician to support nursing care, phlebotomy, and splinting in the Emergency Center under supervision.

You will join a culture-focused team, delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced ED. Must hold WA Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification or WA Medical Assistant Certification and WA Nursing Assistant Certification/Registration, plus BLS from the American Heart Association.

Qualifications

• Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification required at hire.
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification required at hire.
• Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License or WA Nursing Assistant Registered required.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required at hire.
• Emergency Department experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under supervision of nurses and physicians.
• Perform phlebotomy, splinting and patient support in the Emergency Center.
• Assist in the Emergency Center to support patient flow and care.

An Emergency Center Technician (ECT) provides nursing care, phlebotomy, splinting and patient support services in the Emergency Center under the supervision of the nurses and Physicians.
