Job summary

Gunnison Valley Health in Gunnison, CO is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician to join our Emergency Services team. You will support RN colleagues, assist with procedures, and help patients and families with daily living activities.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an IV Certification course; EMT certification is preferred. Flexible onboarding and ongoing patient-centered care are offered.

Responsibilities:

Physical Requirements:

Occasionally (1-33%) - Walking, sitting, crouching/squatting, stooping, stairs, lifting (0-20) lobs, carrying (0-20 lbs), pushing/pulling (25-50) lbs

Frequently (34-66%) - Standing, change position, reaching, reach across midline, handling, fingering

Continuously (37-100%) - must be able to see with corrective eyewear, must be able to hear clearly with assistance

Compensation: $20.84 - $27.88/hr, depending on experience.
