Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an Emergency Services Tech - Paramedic at Elmhurst Hospital for night shifts (7p-7a) with rotating weekends/holidays. The position is part-time (36 hours/week) with premium pay for eligible employees.

Responsibilities include direct patient care in collaboration with RNs, adhering to protocols, and ensuring patient safety. Illinois EMT-Paramedic licensure and CPR certification are required, with at least six months of IL paramedic experience preferred.

Position Highlights

What You Will Do

To provide direct care to assigned patients, partnering with RN to coordinate activities. Under the supervision of the RN and according to established procedures performs patient care tasks and procedures as needed to provide care, comfort and safety of patients.

What You Will Need

• Education: N/A
• Certification:
  • Current CPR Certification issues by either American Heart Associates or American Red Cross
  • State of Illinois Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMTP) licensure
• Experience: A minimum of six months of recent paramedic experience in the State of Illinois
• Unique or Preferred Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, ability to prioritize and multi task, ability to receive and follow through on directions.
