Job summary

Asante’s Emergency Services Technicians support the ED by assisting care under supervision from licensed clinicians in a fast-paced setting. The role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to patient-care protocols in a critical care environment.

Additional Position Details:FTE: 0.900000 |Full Time|1st Shift - Days *Temporary position from 10/01/2026 - 10/01/2027. Position will be temporary for one year and will end unless another position is available to offer at that time.

SalaryRange:$21.86 - $30.07

Shift Differentials:

• $1.33 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• $2.25 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
• $1.16 extra for working weekends

Position Summary

The Emergency Services (ES) Techs for Asante assist in providing care to patients in the Emergency Department under the direction of the RN, FNP, PA or MD while working as a team member and help promote the functioning of Emergency Services.

Qualifications

Required Certifications

• EMT: Emergency Medical Technician certified by the Oregon Department of Human Services - OR - by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians is required upon start.
• BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare provider required upon start

Preferred Certifications

• ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• CMOT: Certified Monitor Technician
• PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support
• PHTLS: Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support
