Job summary

Required qualifications include EMT/MA/CNA/LPN programs or nursing school completion, High School GED, and Basic Life Support (CPR).

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED with relevant healthcare training or licensing.
• EMT/MA/CNA/LPN programs or nursing school completion required upon hire or shortly after.
• Basic life support (BLS/ CPR) required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists in implementing plan of care by performing common clinical procedures and tasks within scope of practice.
• Demonstrates competency in delivery of care and clinical techniques, including basic airway management, CPR, vital signs, and ECG.
• Conducts selected diagnostics and procedures, assists with patient transport and lifting, and provides clerical and cleaning support to the unit.

Every day you will conduct selected diagnostics and procedures, assist with patient transport and lifting, and provide general clerical and cleaning support to the unit.

To be successful in this role you will effectively execute delegated tasks, support unit operations, and contribute to a safe and efficient environment.

• Assists in implementing plan of care by performing common clinical procedures and tasks within scope of practice.
• Demonstrates competency in the delivery of care and clinical techniques, including (but not limited to):
• Basic Airway Management
• CPR
• Vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, oral and rectal temperature, Respirations, and pulse oximetry
• Electrocardiogram

• High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire and completion of one of the following that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program OR Medical Assistant program OR Certified Nursing Assistant Program, OR Licensed Practical Nurse program OR completion of one year of nursing school, upon hire or
