Qualifications

• Trauma Nursing Core Course completed within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• PALS certification obtained within 1 year of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management.
• Performs procedures and documents the administration of care in a timely manner.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and resolves them proactively.
• Teaches patients and families about their medical condition and treatment plan.
• Instructs on non-medicinal follow-up measures for future self-management.
