Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Buda is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts. You will oversee patient care, perform detailed assessments, and develop care plans in a fast-paced emergency-admission environment.

Use clinical judgment to prioritize safety, educate patients, and coordinate with the care team to support positive outcomes. Responsibilities include delegation based on condition and competency, maintaining documentation, and adhering to Texas Nursing Practice Act

Patient Population: Pediatric, Adult, Geriatric – functioning as level IV trauma

# of beds: 8 beds, 4 hall beds

Patient Ratios: 3:1

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse, oversee patient care using a professional practice model. Responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. Secure patient travel. Know about patient needs in healthcare. Help patients and prevent issues. Follow the Texas Nursing Practice Act and delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.
