Sentara Lake Ridge in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Freestanding Emergency Department. This Full-Time position supports the Swing Shift (11:00am–11:00pm) with up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

The RN provides direct care, medication administration, and patient-family communication in a dynamic ED setting. Minimum qualifications include Virginia or compact RN license and a nursing degree.

Qualifications

• RN license Virginia or compact license.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS & PALS or ENPC within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess/admit patients and provide rounding checks.
• Administer medications and monitor patient status.
• Communicate with patients' families and coordinate care.
