Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for Per Diem hospital assignments in Charlotte, NC.

Shifts offered include 3:00 PM-11:00 PM and 7:00 PM-7:00 AM with flexible scheduling and daily pay options. You’ll join a local staffing team delivering high-quality patient care across ER settings.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and current BLS/ACLS certifications are required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
• Facility credentialing requirements must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care ER setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergencies and critically ill patients as needed.

ER RN Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting
• Triage and prioritize patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations
• Complete required assessments and documentation
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care Emergency Room experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements
• Dependable and professional with a commitment to quality patient care
