Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for Per Diem hospital opportunities in Virginia. Choose shifts that fit your availability from 3:00 PM-11:00 PM and 7:00 PM-7:00 AM, with daily pay options and a local staffing team to support you.

Earn competitive per diem pay with flexible scheduling and rapid pay options. Current BLS/ACLS and an active RN license are required; 2 years ER experience preferred; credentialing will be completed

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care Emergency Room experience
• Active RN License required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements
• Dependable and professional with a commitment to quality patient care

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting
• Triage and prioritize patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations
• Complete required assessments and documentation
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements
