Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for Per Diem hospital opportunities in Virginia. Choose shifts that fit your availability while receiving competitive pay and flexible scheduling.

Expect per diem duties with day and night options, weekly pay, and local support from a dedicated staffing team. Active RN license, ACLS/BLS, and 2+ years ER experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care ER setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as required.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergencies and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform RN duties within scope of practice and facility rules.
