Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks an Emergency Department Registered Nurse to deliver expert care in a fast-paced ED and other emergent critical care areas. The RN will apply the nursing process, monitor patients, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and support staff.

Travel position across multiple PA locations with requirements including active RN license, ER experience preferred, CPR current, and compliance with laws.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license within the state of practice.
• Minimum of one year emergency room experience preferred.
• CEN certification preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide ED nursing care using the nursing process and ensure patient safety.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and ancillary staff to coordinate care.
