Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for Per Diem hospital opportunities. Choose shifts that fit your availability while working with a local staffing team that offers competitive pay and flexible scheduling; daily pay options are available.

Shifts typical include 3:00 PM–11:00 PM and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM. Join FCN to work as little as one shift per month with support from staffing coordinators; first-choice local employer with over 15

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care Emergency Room experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements
• Dependable and professional with a commitment to quality patient care

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting
• Triage and prioritize patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations
• Complete required assessments and documentation
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements
