Job summary

Amergis, formerly Maxim Healthcare Staffing, is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Buda, TX. The RN will provide professional nursing care in the emergency setting, applying the nursing process and ensuring patient safety.

Applicants must hold a valid RN license in the state, with ER experience preferred and CEN/CPR certificates desirable. The contract includes weekly pay, competitive benefits, and compliance with health and regulatory requirements.

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the emergency room setting or other emergent critical care areas.

Minimum Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse License within the state of practice

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
