HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver patient-centered care in alignment with department standards and state requirements. You will collaborate with medical providers to implement the Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage nursing model and advocate for patients and families.

Competenze

• < 1 year applicable experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

What Qualifications You Will Need
