Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a clinical pharmacist to support both clinical and distributive pharmacy services, and to promote safe, cost-effective drug therapies for patients of all ages. The role involves developing and maintaining pharmacy programs and ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, with ASHP PGY1 residency preferred and hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the state board.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency preferred but not required.
• Preferred hospital clinical pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Process orders and dispense medications per policies, procedures and regulations.
• Contribute to educational goals of the department.
• Enhance accuracy and efficiency of pharmacy processes to improve patient outcomes.
