Job summary

Mountain West Medical Center in Tooele, Utah is seeking a Registered Nurse - Emergency for night shift. The RN will assess, plan, supervise, and evaluate nursing care, coordinating with the medical plan of care and facility policies.

Requirements include Utah RN licensure (or compact state with Utah license within 60 days), BLS within 30 days, ALS/PALS within 90 days, TNCC within 1 year, and about 1 year of Emergency RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Utah or equivalency. If licensed in a compact state and residing in Utah a Utah State License must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• BLS Certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ALS & PALS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• TNCC Certification required within 1 year of hire.
• 1 year of experience and familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of an Emergency RN preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse shall be responsible for assessing, planning, supervising and evaluating the nursing care of patients and for correlating the nursing process, the medical plan of care and policies.
