Job summary

PIH Health Downey Hospital seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department on a full-time night shift from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM. The RN will deliver direct patient care, perform assessments, plan and evaluate care, and coordinate with the care team to ensure smooth patient flow.

The role requires strong communication, organizational, and computer skills, with leadership experience and a focus on patient education and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and assessment for assigned emergency patients.

• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary care team to maintain patient flow.
• Utilize basic computer systems for charting and documentation.
