Job summary

SERVPRO Southwest Portland is seeking a hands-on restoration professional to join our team. You will respond to emergencies, assist with water and fire damage cleanup, and help prepare sites for remediation.

Ideal candidates bring handyman or construction experience, enjoy helping others, and are comfortable working outdoors. On-call shifts including evenings and weekends may be required; a valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration, construction, or related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required and ability to lift heavy materials.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations (water/fire damage).
• Perform restoration activities including water extraction, drying, and debris removal.
• Load and organize tools and supplies for each project.
• Communicate safety hazards and job needs to supervisors and clients.
• Maintain clear contact with clients and explain restoration steps.
