Job summary

SERVPRO of Paramus is seeking a hands-on team member to respond to property damage emergencies and lead restoration tasks. You will assist with water and fire damage cleanup, equipment setup, and coordinated demolition while maintaining clear communication with clients and supervisors.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced, community-focused environment. Training and safety protocols are provided to ensure high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to work on-call, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in restoration, construction, or a related field preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage and fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities including water extraction, setup of equipment, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools and supplies for each project.
• Communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements with supervisors.
• Maintain open communication with clients, addressing their concerns and explaining the restoration process.
• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying and site clean-up.
