Job summary

SERVPRO of Hardin/LaRue Counties is seeking a hands-on professional to join our restoration team in Kentucky. You will respond to emergency situations such as water and fire damage, perform restorations, and assist with equipment setup and cleanup in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has handyman or construction experience, values teamwork, and is motivated to learn a new skill. On-call shifts, evenings, weekends, and some holidays are required to serve the community.

Qualifications

• Previous handyman or construction experience.
• Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities including but not limited to, water extraction, fire damages, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.
• Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.
• Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing their concerns and explaining the restoration process.
• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying and site clean-up
