Job summary

Lightspeed Restoration of Middletown is seeking a Field Technician to perform 24/7 emergency water damage recovery, mold remediation, fire restoration, and indoor air quality services in Middletown and Monmouth County.

The Field Technician works under a Lead Technician or Project Manager as part of a small, local crew. You will gain hands-on training, advance through roles, and contribute to helping neighbors recover from disasters.

Qualifications

• No experience required; 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to travel to job sites throughout Middletown and greater Monmouth County.
• Self-motivated and growth-oriented.
• Able to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Light demolition and removal of finished building materials from the job site.
• Operate water collection vacuums or pumps to extract standing water from inside structures.
• Detailed cleaning including vacuuming, brushing, and damp wiping surfaces and building contents.
• Set or adjust equipment for drying or filtration.
• Clean HVAC / air duct & exhaust systems using collection vacuums and tools.
• Squatting, crawling, and ladder work to access all areas.
• Demonstrate proper, safe operation of power tools and equipment.
• Demonstrate safe lifting and ladder-climbing practices.
• Demonstrate safe chemical storage and use practices.
• Strong communication skills and excellent customer service.
• Ability to operate PC and mobile devices.
