Job summary
Altium Packaging is seeking an Operations Technical Support Specialist to stabilize and restore maintenance and production across U.S. and Canada plants.
You will act as an on-site technical leader during emergencies, troubleshoot blow molding and bottle processing equipment, and drive corrective actions with plant teams. You will travel up to 100% to support rapid responses, perform major PM/overhaul work, and build lasting technical capability while ensuring safety and compliance on the plant
Qualifications
- 6-10 years' experience in a high-output plastics manufacturing environment.
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience in maintenance and/or production technical roles.
- Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting blow molding systems and downstream bottle processing equipment.
- Proven ability to lead under pressure during unplanned operational events.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a first responder for critical operational events across U.S. and Canada plants.
- Lead on-site technical leadership during escalations with Plant Managers and Maintenance Leaders.
- Conduct root cause analyses and ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership across maintenance and production systems.
